<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable it to grasp the lapsed time and the use frequency after generating an image when displaying the list of images. <P>SOLUTION: A score updating section 30 gives a score to a hard disk 24 which stores image data, and subtracts a predetermined point from the score according to the lapsed days after the generation day of the image data. On the other hand, in the case of using an image such as a browsing and a print output, points are added to the score according to a use mode.
