<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leaky transmission line antenna for obtaining excellent electric field strength over an entire space wherein a leaky transmission line is installed by effectively utilizing a supplied high frequency power. <P>SOLUTION: The leaky transmission line antenna includes: a leaky coaxial cable 21 at the one end of which a feeding part 22 is provided and at the other end of which a termination part 23 is provided, wherein the feeding part captures a high frequency power from a transmitter 25 and part of the high frequency power passing through the inside of the transmission line is leaked to an external space as a radio wave from a slot 24; and a power return section and a delay section 26 for delaying the high frequency power outputted from the termination part of the leaky coaxial cable by a delay time T and feeding the high frequency power after the delay to the termination part. A standing wave resulting from overlapping a traveling wave and a reflection wave is generated on the leaky coaxial cable and a loop at which the amplitude of the standing wave is a maximum is made coincident with the position of the slot. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
