<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector having a simple structure in which the buckling of such a connecting object as an FPC etc. hardly occurs when being inserted into the connector, and a large force is not required for operation as well as the mechanical robustness is not required for an actuator. <P>SOLUTION: In this connector, a plurality of first contactors 3 and a plurality of second contactors 4 are disposed in a housing 2 shifted from each other in a zigzag manner. Each first contactor has an elastically deformable upper beam 3a in which a contact 3a1 is formed. In a fitting direction of an FPC 6 into the connector 1, the contact of the first contactor is disposed near the inlet of an insertion 2a in the connector, and the contact of the second contact is disposed relatively far from the inlet. The contact of the first contactor is displaced and connected with the FPC when the upper beam is deformed, and the contact of the second contact is displaced and connected with the FPC when an actuator 5 is operated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
