<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for reading and writing a radio tag, which may accurately recognize a position of the radio tag, always keep the radio tag in a normal writing area, and keep stacked mails in order in a box for reading and writing the radio tag. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for reading and writing radio tags comprises a box 11 for reading and writing having an open end 12 and a closed end 13, wherein a plurality of envelops 15 with a radio tag 14 being attached on the top of thereof are inserted into the open end 12, stacked, and also housed near the closed end 13 so that the tops of the envelops 15 are aligned. A first reading antenna 17 and a second reading antenna 18 for detecting a position of the radio tag 14, are arranged on an upper side of the box 11 for reading and writing. An antenna 19 for writing a data on the radio tags is arranged at the closed end 13 of the box 11 for reading and writing. A step section 22 is formed at a bottom of the box 11 for reading and writing so that a bottom side 20 of a writing area 16 becomes lower than a bottom side 21 of the side of the open end 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
