PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analysis apparatus and method for a contents evaluation result for efficiently analyzing the evaluation result applied to contents with high accuracy. SOLUTION: The apparatus analyzes an evaluation result obtained from evaluators 34 for evaluating each scene included in the contents, and includes: a text processing section 12 for converting each utterance contents included in the contents and scene descriptions into texts. Further, the apparatus includes a data collection section 16 for acquiring revolving signals including information associated with evaluation results output from each dial unit 40 provided to each evaluator 34 for viewing the contents. Moreover, the apparatus includes: a coordinate conversion section 22 for converting each revolving signal into coordinate values; a graph processing section 24 for displaying a trend graph obtaining by plotting the coordinate values along an elapsed time on a display screen 28; and a composite display control section 27 that lays out the text converted information to a corresponding position on the trend graph in cross-reference with each other and displays the information on the display screen together with the trend graph.
