<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag door a door part of which does not collide against a wind shield when the door part is deployed by working of an air bag device at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: The roughly rectangular door part 25 is provided on a panel constitutional member 2 of a resin made instrument panel 1 so as to deploy forward around a front side hinge part 7 by working of the air bag device 11. A projected part 31 having an upper surface 31a higher than the door part 25 is formed in front of the door part 25 of this panel constitutional member 2 so as to extend in the car widthwise direction. A fragile part 33 extending in the car widthwise direction is formed on a back surface of the door part in the neighborhood of a contact part to make contact with the projected part 31 when the door part 25 is deployed so that the door part 25 is bent forward toward the side of the upper surface 31a of the projected part 31 after abutment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
