PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection device of a battery terminal in which a protection cover to cover a fuse unit formed in L-shape and a battery terminal is formed by a material having flexibility, and damage of the protection cover at the time of vehicle collision is prevented, and the protection cover is hardly separated from the fuse unit. SOLUTION: This is a protection device of a battery terminal in which a fuse unit of L-shape formed so as to go along the upper wall and side wall of a battery case with a prescribed spacing is installed on the battery terminal, and a protection cover consisting of a fuse cover part to cover the upper part of the fuse unit, a terminal cover to cover the upper part of the battery terminal, and a hinge to connect the both movably is installed on the fuse unit. The protection cover is formed of a material having flexibility, the fuse cover part is constructed of an upper wall and a side wall extending downward from the edge of the upper wall, and a ring part to surround annularly the lower extension part of the fuse unit is formed at the side wall.
