PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize damage to a user when a recording/reproducing device fails by controlling the removal of the recording/reproducing device having contents recorded therein and an access limit while protecting a copyright. SOLUTION: The information processor incorporating a removable hard disk device is provided with: a command issuing means for notifying host ID information unique to the processor to the hard disk device; a locking means for inhibiting the removable of the hard disk device; a command issuing means for making an inquiry about removal permission to the disk device; and removal control means for permitting removal based on command response to instruct unlocking to the locking means.
