PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk loading/unloading mechanism capable of securing a concentrated relatively large space in a disk device, in a disk device equipped with a disk loading/unloading mechanism. SOLUTION: The disk loading/unloading mechanism for loading and unloading a disk-like storage medium (disk D) through an opening 3 is provided with a deviated driving means 10 by which the loading/unloading direction when loading and unloading the disk D is deviated to a loading/unloading direction (B) with respect to a straight direction (A) orthogonal to the opening direction of the opening 3.
