PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator door in which a transparent member such as a glass or acrylic plate is provided at a center, stiles are disposed on both side of the transparent plate member, the stiles on both sides of the transparent plate member are connected to each other by connection members provided at an upper and a lower parts on the back surface of the transparent plate member, and the transparent plate member is press-fit to be integrated with the stiles. SOLUTION: Both the right and left end parts of the transparent plate member 1 are held by the stiles 2. Front surfaces of both right and left end parts of the transparent plate member 1 are covered with surface side elongated pieces 21, and the right and left end surfaces of the transparent plate member are sandwiched by projections 23 projected from the back surface of the surface side elongated members 21 inward. U-shaped connection members 3 are disposed at the both upper and lower parts on the back surface of the transparent plate member 1. The transparent plate member 1 is press-fit to the back surface of the surface side elongated members 21 of the stiles by center parts of the connection member 3.
