PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article storage container having a peripheral wall and a joint wall breakable via perforations even if a perforated line formed on the peripheral wall does not coincide with a perforated line formed on the joint wall. SOLUTION: The article storage container 1A has a top wall 7, a bottom wall 9, a peripheral wall 12 extending circumferentially, and the joint wall 10 extending circumferntially from a side rim 24 of the peripheral wall 12 outwardly. A coupling region 17 for adhering an external face of the peripheral wall 12 to an internal face of the joint wall 10 is formed inward from a side rim 16 of the peripheral wall 12 located opposite to the side rim 24. The container 1A has a pair of first upper and lower perforated lines 19 and 20 for wall-breaking extending circumferentially formed on the peripheral wall 12 except the joint wall 10, and a second upper perforated line 26 for wall-breaking extending circumferentially immediately above the longitudinal direction of the first upper line 19 and a second lower perforated line 27 for wall-breaking extending circumferentially immediately below the longitudinal direction of the first lower line 20 are formed on the joint wall 10.
