PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cushioning material for packing with good operability and high production efficiency by improving a conventional inconvenient structure for use in which polyurethane films are faced and an object to be stored is pinched between them, or it is pushed thereinto from the peripheral edge part of a covering. SOLUTION: The cushioning material for packing is constituted of a paper corrugated fiberboard material. A central part surrounded by left and right facing ends bendable inside of the back face side and upper and lower facing ends bendable to the surface side, is formed into an opening and closing part for storing having a cut line and an opening and closing line. A thickness part forming a thickness when the left and right facing ends are bent inside is provided at the boundary between the left and right facing ends, and on the left and right facing ends, a thickness forming piece on the back face side of the opening and closing part for storing is protruded by bending to the back face side, and stopping holes for left and right ends of the film are penetrated. On the upper and lower facing ends, stopping holes for upper and lower ends of the film are penetrated. For the polyurethane film covering the surface side of the opening and closing part for storing, four left, right, upper and lower end parts are inserted and fixed into the both stopping holes for left and right ends of the film and the both stopping holes for upper and lower ends of the film.
