PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability when a seat back falls for making a back generally horizontal, and to enhance adaptability to both side lock type, without making structure complicated and deterioration in functionality. SOLUTION: A tilting position of a reclining plate 12 when the seat back falls for making the back 20a generally horizontal, is stipulated as a forward tilting limit position to a base plate 16 of a seat cushion side portion in advance. A single lock-off lever interlockably coupled through a coated type flexible forked wire cable 44 locks off a reclining lock mechanism 24 synchronously with locking-off of a falling lock mechanism 26, thereby automatically rocking and setting the reclining plate 12 at the forward tilting limit position under the energizing force of a reclining energizing means 40.
