PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a structure of a bypass in an expansion valve integrated with a solenoid valve. SOLUTION: This expansion valve 1 integrated with the solenoid valve has a valve chest 12 on a valve main body 10, and a valve element 30 opening and closing a throttle passage 14 communicated with a refrigerant outlet passage is operated by a power element 50 through a valve spindle 80. The bypass formed in parallel with the throttle flow channel 14 is opened and closed by the solenoid valve 100. An insertion member 200 is inserted into a minute communication passage 22 communicated with the valve chest 12 to allow the refrigerant to flow through the minute communication passage when a refrigerant pressure at a bypass passage 21 side becomes excessively high.
