PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability of scroll compressor by reducing possibility of wear of a sliding part of an oil dam ring due to insufficient lubricating oil filled in a back pressure chamber, and generation of vibration and impact noise of the oil dam ring. SOLUTION: The back pressure chamber 20 is filled with supplied lubricating oil and lubrication of the oil dam ring key 26a is promoted, wear of the sliding surface is prevented and reliability is improved by providing a valve device opening part 70a of a valve device 70 communicating and adjusting the back pressure chamber 20 and a suction part (suction hole 16) provided on a fixed scroll 11 in an upper part of an oil dam ring key 26a sliding part.
