This invention provides a ring-shaped intelligent antenna array, especially a lightning protection ring-shaped intelligent antenna array and its manufacturing method, which preserves a space for the symmetry axis of the antenna array and lays a lightning rod along said symmetry axis to the earth from above the top of the antenna array. Since the lightning rod is set along the symmetry axis of the antenna array, which does not damage the symmetry of the antenna array, therefore, it does not influence the radiation property of the array, and avoids aberration of the directional pattern, furthermore, the structure of the invention is very simple, correspondingly, its fabrication cost is comparatively low.
