<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake booster tie rod for a vehicle for mounting a booster and a brake controlling master cylinder on a bulkhead 3 in an engine room of the vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The tie rod 4 is furnished at the ends with shoulder parts 43 and 44 to serve as bearing surfaces having a shape of truncated cone. Each shoulder part 43/44 is arranged so that the narrow portion of its truncated conical surface lies near a threaded part 41/42 used to fix the booster, and is positioned inside the booster so that the truncated conical surface can make contact with a hole 81/82 in a shape of truncated cone formed in the wall of the booster. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
