<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silent piano capable of being played in an acoustic sound while outputting electronic sounds of an electric metronome, a synthesizer, etc. <P>SOLUTION: The silent piano 100 with a loudspeaker comprises: a mode selector switch 5 for selecting a silence mode; a string striking restraining mechanism 6 for restraining the string striking by a string striking mechanism 30 in response to the selection of the silence mode by the mode selector switch 5; a control part 7 for controlling an electronic sound source 9 so that an electronic sound corresponding to the key striking operation is generated when the key striking operation is carried out in the silence mode, and for controlling an electronic sound source 9 so that an electronic sound other than the electronic sound corresponding to the key striking operation is generated when the silence mode is released and a non-silence mode is selected; and a loudspeaker 11 for outputting these electronic sounds generated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
