PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tamper-resistant device for reliably preventing data in a case body from being copied or altered when a third person illegally opens a cover. SOLUTION: A Hall element 38 and a Hall voltage detecting part 45 are arranged on an electronic circuit board 35 which is stored in the storage case 2 of the case body 1. A magnet 25 is disposed at a position opposite to the Hall element 38 inside a cover 7. When the cover 7 is removed, a magnetic flux passing the Hall element 38 by the magnet 25 is changed. The Hall element 38 outputs the change of the magnetic flux as the change of the Hall voltage Vh. When the Hall voltage Vh is largely changed, a switch 56 is changed-over and the power source terminal of a volatile memory 60 is grounded. Consequently, the data in the volatile memory 60 is erased.
