PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve suppression of vibration at a time of drive and improve transmission efficiency in power transmission chain used for power transmission device such as pulley type continuously variable transmission. SOLUTION: A chain 1 is provided with a plurality of links 2 and a first and a second pin 3, 4 connecting the links 2. The first pin 3 has rolling slide contact with the mating second pin 4 with accompanying bend between the links 2. A curved surface part 25 and an extension part 26 are provided on a front part 12 of the first pin 3. The extension part 26 suppresses overshoot of the adjoining links 2 in a straight condition, and extends in a reverse direction V1 from a rising part J of the curved surface part 25 to the curved surface part 25. Roughly whole surface of the extension part 26 has surface contact with a rear part 19 of the corresponding second pin 4 in the straight zone of the chain 1. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
