PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solenoid valve performing air tight seal by an O-ring attached on a valve element, excellent in resistance against coming off and resistance against drop out of the O-ring, and not leaking fluid in use under any fluid flow. SOLUTION: A valve element 23 has a column shape and has an annular circumference groove 24 including a grooved bottom surface 24A concentric with the valve element 23 formed on an outer circumference near a tip part. Outer diameter Dc of a tip flange part 23A in a tip part side of the circumference groove 24 of the valve element 23 is made smaller than a part in a base end part side of the circumference groove 24 of the valve element 23, namely the outer diameter Da of the base end part 23B and the O-ring 25 made of rubber like elastic body is installed on the circumference groove 24. A cylindrical outer tube member 26 is fitted and installed on the outer circumference of the base end part 23B of the valve element 23 to position the tip side of the outer tube member 26 namely a lower side part 26A to overlap the circumference groove 24 in a view from an axial direction of the valve element 23, and an outer circumference of the O-ring 25 installed on the circumference groove 24 is enclosed by a lower side part 26A of an outer tube member 26.
