PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a melt-spinning spinneret stabilizing the spinning processes of thermoplastic synthetic fibers consisting of a polyester, polyamide, polyolefin, etc., for a long period, also decreasing the frequency of surface cleaning of the spinneret and capable of easily removing foreign materials attached to the spinneret in the surface cleaning, and a method for melt-spinning by using the same. SOLUTION: This spinneret (1) is provided by making a contacting surface making a contact with a polymer (4) just before the ejection and just after the ejection as a rough surface (3) having≥1.5μm and≤5.0μm expressed by a central line average roughness (Ra) in spinning holes (2) bored on the spinneret (1), and the method for melt-spinning the polyester by using the melt-spinning spinneret.
