PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly correct a rotational position of sheet, without generating useless movement. SOLUTION: Folded sheet 31 is delivered to a sheet direction switching part for switching the direction of the sheet and correcting an attitude of the sheet. When this folded sheet 31 is delivered to the sheet direction switching part, a folding width is detected by a folding width detecting sensor. An operation width of jogger fences 15 and 16 is set on the basis of the detected folding width. Then, a sheet folding controller carries the folded sheet 31 to the sheet direction switching part, and dashes the end surface unfolded rear end of the folded sheet 31 against the jogger fence 15. The attitude of the folded sheet 31 is corrected by advancing and retreating the jogger fences 15 and 16 on both sides of the folded sheet 31 in the width direction of the folded sheet 31.
