SHIFT RESTRICTION MECHANISM IN WALKING TYPE CULTIVATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple shift restriction mechanism performing restriction of shift when a steering is reversed in a walking type cultivator having longitudinally reversible steering and shift lever. SOLUTION: The rearward projecting steering 8 and the shift lever 9 are longitudinally reversibly mounted on a traveling machine body 11 and when the traveling machine body 11 is retreating-traveling in a steering projection direction by forwardly reversing the steering 8, a restriction means for restricting the retreating-traveling of higher speed than a predetermined speed is constituted such that the restriction is performed interlocked with reversing operation to a front side of the shift lever 9. Further, in the restriction means, restriction starting of high speed retreating traveling can be adjusted to a predetermined timing on or after reverse operating starting of the shift lever 9.
