The invention relates to a device support sleeper, comprising a trough or hollow sleeper (10) open to the track side with a U-shaped cross-section with lateral walls (12, 14), from the longitudinal edges of which, support points (52, 54, 56, 58) for rail sections (60, 62) of the track extend, a cover (82) and a retainer to accommodate at least one sensor (88, 90), arranged on the side of the rail section. According to the invention, a universal application may be achieved, with optimal positioning of a sensor required for localisation with minimisation of the separation between sensor and localisation region, whereby anchorings (30, 32, 34, 49, 51) extend from the lateral walls (14, 16) of the trough sleeper for casting the trough sleeper in a fixed track, the support points (52, 54, 56, 58) have an elastic embodiment, whereby each support point is divided into two separate support point parts (52, 54, 56, 58) each projecting from one of the longitudinal edges of the lateral walls, the retainer for the at least one sensor (88, 90, 98, 100, 102, 104) and/or the at least one sensor runs directly to the rail section (60, 62) and the trough sleeper is of a length corresponding to the width of a fixed track supporting the rails. |
