<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical burst signal receiving device obtaining a signal detect output of burst packet detection and improving the input dynamic range of an IC for burst signal equivalent amplification. <P>SOLUTION: A negative-phase signal of a burst signal inputted from an optical module 10 is branched into two, and the output of a peak detecting circuit 33 to which one of two branch signals is inputted and the other branch output are inputted to a gain amplifier 34 for amplification to output a positive-phase signal. This output signal is inputted to a peak detecting circuit 35 to which a capacitor and a resistance are connected and which maintains a peak value of the output of the gain buffer by accumulating electric charges in the capacitor, and its output and the output of a reference resistance 53 are inputted to a comparator 36 to generate a burst packet detection signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
