<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for reducing a body size by reducing the restrictions of a light source element substrate and a circuit board. <P>SOLUTION: The display device is provided with a conductive member 7 on the surface of the circuit board 4 functioning as a fixed board, and fixes the light source element board 6 to the circuit board 4, by inserting the light source element board 6 in the conductive member 7. By making the display device into such a structure, the conductive member 7 is arranged at an arbitrary position of the circuit board 4; and since the circuit board 4 can be arranged in that location, restrictions with the end faces of the circuit board 4 and the conductive member 7 being required to be arranged proximately is eliminated in the case of the conventional type.
