<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated nozzle plate which can easily remove a liquid or a foreign substance sticking to the periphery of a nozzle and allow a liquid droplet to smoothly flow to the nozzle, a liquid discharge head equipped with this laminated nozzle plate, and a method for manufacturing the laminated nozzle plate which can precisely register the positions of a hole with a level difference of a protecting plate, the nozzle of a nozzle plate and a communicating hole of a communicating hole plate. <P>SOLUTION: A pool plate 16 is joined to one surface of the nozzle plate 14 and a protecting plate 12 is joined to the other surface of the nozzle plate 14. After that, the communicating hole 24 is formed in the pool plate 16 and the hole 22 with a level difference is formed in the protecting plate 12.
