<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect easily a target wherein spread on a range cell of a target signal becomes extremely small, when utilizing wavelet conversion processing. <P>SOLUTION: When performing pulse compression by a pulse compression circuit 11 by regarding a target detection performance as important in a range where a range resolution is permitted, a weight for the pulse compression is controlled by a parameter control circuit 17 to thereby widen the pulse width after compression. The number of points of the range cell of the target signal is increased, and wavelet conversion is performed by a wavelet conversion circuit 12. A prescribed expansion coefficient is selected by an expansion coefficient selection circuit 13, and reverse wavelet conversion is performed by a reverse wavelet conversion circuit 14. CFAR processing is performed by a CFAR circuit 15, and the target is detected by comparative determination with a threshold specified by a target detection circuit 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
