<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a reception decision making which is safer than decision making using a conventional effective band e<SB>k</SB>, and maintains no logical packet loss as it is, improves scalability, and maximizes accommodation efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The reception decision method of a service providing network that provides an inter-UNI quality guarantee by making UNI traffic definitions of traffic characteristics of a session flow from a device in a user network to the service providing network includes a procedure (201) of grasping connection information and link resources of respective trandfer nodes, a procedure (204) of employing a value e<SB>k</SB>common in a network for an effective band to be allocated to each session flow (k) without depending upon a link ij (calculating the e<SB>k</SB>from a procedure of calculating D<SB>min</SB>), procedures (206 to 208) of comparing a link band C<SB>ij</SB>with the effective band total valueΣe<SB>k</SB>of all session flows to decide whether reception is allowed, and a procedure of deciding whether the reception is allowed by using a relational equationσ<SB>k</SB>=r<SB>k</SB>D<SB>min</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
