<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a railroad ticket using a reversible information display panel which can well cut its manufacturing cost and sufficiently reduce its manhour, and besides, can effectively restrain the consumption of natural resources. <P>SOLUTION: This railroad ticket 1 consists of a reversible and dry information display panel which is made to display required information on the transparent substrate side by moving display media using an electric field, generated by an electric charge, which is formed on the surface of substrates. The display media are sealed in a closed space between the two mutually opposed substrates, at least one of which is transparent. (1) The two different kinds of the display media with differing colors and electric charge characteristics are used, (2) the average particle diameter of a particle for the display medium used for the information display panel, falls within the range of 3 to 10μm, and (3) the gross thickness of the information display panel is 10μm to less than 1 mm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
