<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an atmospheric-opened hot-water supply device equipped with an overflow pipe capable of preventing intrusion of dust, insects or smell. <P>SOLUTION: This atmospheric-opened hot-water supply device is provided with a hot-water storage can body 1 for storing hot water heated by a heating means 2, and is so structured that a water-supply pipe 7 having a water-supply solenoid valve 11 communicates with the hot-water storage can body 1; a certain water level is always kept by opening and closing the water-supply solenoid valve 11 in response to a water level of a water level detection means 14 for detecting the water level in the hot-water storage can body 1; an atmospheric-opened chamber 16 is formed in an upper part of the hot-water storage can body 1; the overflow pipe 46 communicates with a position above a certain water level of the atmosphere-open chamber 16; and safety is secured by draining water through the overflow pipe 46 when the water level is set above the certain water level by installing a cutoff valve 47 opened only to the drainage side in the overflow pipe 46. Since the intrusion of dust, insects or smell into the hot-water storage can body 1 can be blocked by the cutoff valve 47, the hot-water supply device is hygienic and can be used with no concern. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
