PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems wherein, because an automatic cash transaction device user cannot select an installed biological authentication method when installing a biological authentication device to an automatic cash transaction device, the automatic cash transaction user cannot use the cash transaction device when having a physical disability; and because a portable terminal possessor analyzes a biological authentication program when a portable terminal has the biological authentication program and executes biological authentication, it can be used for crime. SOLUTION: In this transaction system, when performing the biological authentication in the automatic cash transaction device, the biological authentication program is received from the automatic cash transaction device and is authenticated inside the portable terminal, and only an authentication result is transmitted to the automatic cash transaction device. Thereby, the automatic cash transaction device user can privately select the biological authentication method. Because the authentication program is present inside the portable terminal only in time of the authentication, it is prevented that the authentication program is analyzed by the portable terminal possessor and is used for the crime.
