PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CAD system design support apparatus capable of managing and displaying spot welding positions in each welding condition in a CAD system for preparing a three-dimensional design. SOLUTION: The design support apparatus 10 for the CAD system for preparing a three-dimensional design is provided with a spot welding position setting part 11 for specifying a spot welding position, an ID imparting part 12 for automatically imparting identification ID to the spot welding position set by the spot welding position setting part 11 and a retrieval part 13 capable of retrieving the spot welding position in each identification ID.
