PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control apparatus which can reduce malfunctions without excessive confirmation requests, and can eliminate the need for switching whether or not a confirmation request is necessary based on the criterion that a user can not grasp a state. SOLUTION: The remote control apparatus comprises; a speech recognition part 2 for outputting operation information D2 presumed from a speech data D1; a confirmation part 3 which externally makes a request for a confirmation whether or not processing can be performed according to the operation information D2, and which prevents execution of the processing when the execution of the processing is not permitted by the confirmation; a key allocation management part 6 which manages the relationship corresponding to the operation information showing a key data and operation content, and which outputs operation information D5 according to an input key data D4; a control signal output part 4 which outputs a control signal D3 according to the operation information from the speech recognition part 2 or the key allocation management part 6; and a confirmation necessity decision part 7 which refers to the data D6 of the relationship corresponding to the key data and the operation information managed by the key allocation management part 6, and which decides whether or not the confirmation by the confirmation part 3 is necessary.
