PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the phenomenon that, in an electrolytic cell into which circular electrodes are incorporated, at the time of solution passing, the short-circuit of an electrolytic solution occurs or an immobile part is formed, so as to reduce current efficiency is prevented. SOLUTION: Circular electrodes 15, 15 are arranged so as to be confronted with a gap. The circumference of the gap is surrounded by a circumferential wall 6a, so as to form an electrode chamber 18. An electrolytic solution introduction port 16 is opened at a part of the circumferential wall, an electrolytic solution exhaust port 17 is opened at the other part, and an electrolytic solution is passed from the electrolytic solution introduction port 16 through the electrolytic solution exhaust port 17 to the electrolytic chamber 18. The flow passage 16a in the vicinity of the electrolytic solution introduction port 16 is provided with introduction side guide members 25, 26 of guiding the electrolytic solution so as to be branched toward the downstream side radially in such a manner that the electrolytic solution introduced through the electrolytic solution introduction port 16 into the electrode chamber 18 spreads over the whole in the width direction of the electrodes. The electrolytic solution smoothly and uniformly flows at the inside of the electrode chamber 18, thus the short-circuit of the solution flow and the generation of an immobile part are prevented, and electrolytic reaction can be efficiently performed.
