PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a synthetic fiber free from unevenness of fineness and dispersion of quality in which yarn melt-spun from a spinneret is uniformly and stably cooled and yarn is spun without causing lowering of temperature of the spinneret and temperature in the vicinity of the spinneret and a good package free from single yarn breakage and sagging yarn is wound when producing the synthetic fiber by high-speed spinning method. SOLUTION: The melt-spinning apparatus of synthetic fiber comprises a melt extrusion apparatus equipped with a spinneret and a cyclic cooling apparatus having a blow-off part of cooling air for cooling a synthetic fiber spun from the spinneret. In the melt-spinning apparatus, a means for freely applying a force so as to bring the lower part of the melt extrusion apparatus into contact with the upper part of the cyclic cooling apparatus is provided in the lower part of the cyclic cooling apparatus and the cooling air blown off from the cyclic cooling apparatus is blown off in a state inclined from perpendicular direction to downward direction based on yarn traveling direction.
