PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steelmaking dust solidified product obtained by charging dust essentially consisting of iron and the oxide thereof produced in a steel production process by a melting furnace or the like, and compacting and solidifying the same, and a method for producing the same, wherein a steelmaking dust solidified product having practically sufficient strength is inexpensively produced without adding an additive such as a binder to the raw material dust to be fed. SOLUTION: Dust 9 consisting mainly of iron and the oxide thereof produced in a steel production process is charged inside a compacting die 7, and is compacted and solidified, thus a steelmaking dust solidified product B as the solidified product thereof is produced. The raw material 11 to be charged inside the compacting die 7 is obtained by mixing the steelmaking dust 9 with powder 10 consisting mainly of carbon, and the quantity of the powder 10 consisting mainly of carbon is controlled to 1 to 40 wt% of the raw material 11.
