<p>A storage device has an interface processing section performing data input into and data output from an upper-level device and processing data. A first storage medium processing section reads data from or writes data in a removable first storage medium. A second storage medium processing section reads data from or writes data in a removable second storage medium. In an encryption key input section, encryption key information is directly inputted in the storage medium without the information going through the upper-level device. In an encryption processing section, an encryption processing mode is set based on the input of the encryption key information from the encryption key input section, and the encryption processing section performs data encryption or decryption.</p> |
