Mounting means (34) are provided for mounting the mast assembly (11) to the loader (35) so as to be supported in use in a substantially upstanding attitude and the mast assembly (12) includes support means (22) at its upper end for supporting or carrying a tool such as an impact applying tool (23).</p>
