<p>A system includes an azimuthing pod (12) configured to be attached to the hull (14) of a ship, a superconducting motor (18) positioned within the azimuthing pod (12) , a refrigeration system including a compressor (36, 36a) and a cryogenic refrigeration module (34) coupled to the compressor (36, 36a) .
