<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice grain coating apparatus properly subjecting rice grains to coating treatment while suppressing damage to the rice grains. <P>SOLUTION: The rice grain coating apparatus is provided with the following: a cylindrical stirring chamber-forming member 50 taking a laterally falling posture; a stirring/transferring means 70 rotationally driven around an axis core along a longitudinal direction of the stirring chamber-forming member 50 so as to transfer the rice grains fed into the stirring chamber-forming member 50 from a rice grain feeding part 60 in a longitudinal direction of the stirring chamber-forming member 50 while stirring the rice grains; a coating material solution feeding means 80 feeding coating material solution to the rice grains transferred in the stirring chamber-forming member 50 from a portion at the side in a rice grain transferring direction lower than the rice grain feeding portion via the rice grain feeding part 60; and a stirring air feeding means 90 feeding stirring air which stirs the rice grains transferred in the stirring chamber-forming member 50, into the stirring chamber-forming member 50 through the stirring air feeding portion at the side lower than the portion for feeding the coating material solution via the coating material solution feeding means 80. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
