<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive fuel cell system capable of simply estimating a prescribed gas volume permeating through a solid polymer film of a solid polymer fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system is constituted by the solid polymer fuel cell 10, a cathode side gas partial pressure estimation means (S2) estimating a first partial pressure to be a partial pressure of a prescribed gas existing at cathode side of the solid polymer fuel cell 10, an anode side gas partial pressure estimation means (S4) estimating a second partial pressure to be a partial pressure of a prescribed gas existing at anode side of the solid polymer fuel cell 10, and a film permeating gas volume estimation means (S3) estimating the prescribed gas volume permeating through the solid polymer film of the solid polymer fuel cell 10 depending on the difference between the first pressure and the second pressure of the prescribed gas. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
