PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a malfunctions detecting device in which constitution to detect malfunctions of an electrical circuit is simplified, to provide a power source supply system which applies the malfunctions detecting device and also contributes improvement of its performance, to provide a vehicle mounting the power source supply system, and to provide a malfunctions detecting method which detects the malfunctions of the electrical circuit using a simple technique. SOLUTION: The power supply system supplies electric power to a generator 20 from a battery 50 through a power supply circuit 2. A shunt resistance 30a is interposed at a side of system main relays 12a and 12b of a high-voltage cable 14, while a shunt resistance 30b is done at a side of a boosting circuit 16 of the high-voltage cable 14. A current sensor 40 measures a value of a current flowing into the system main relay 12b, and inputs to a malfunctions detecting portion 44. The malfunctionsdetecting portion 44 distinguishes and detects the malfunctions of the system main relay 12a or 12b, the malfunctions of the high-voltage cable 14, and the malfunctions after the boosting circuit 16, based on the value of the current.
