PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire an armature assembled without a securement by a mold, and having good heat dissipation characteristic and low magnetic resistance even if teeth and a back yoke are fitted and coupled. SOLUTION: The armature is provided with a plurality of the teeth 21 and the back yoke 4 for holding the teeth 21. The teeth 21 and the back yoke 4 are separately formed. The armature is assembled by coupling the teeth 21 and the back yoke 4. A groove 5 is provided in the back yoke 4. A pair of protrusions 7 are provided in the teeth 21, inserted into the groove 5, and elastically fitted to both walls in the groove 5. Positioning protrusions 11 are provided in the groove 5. Positioning grooves 27 are provided in the protrusions 7 to be inserted into the positioning protrusion 11 in the groove 5, and fitted to the positioning protrusions 11. The protrusions 7 are inserted into the groove 5. The teeth 21 and the back yoke 4 are coupled by elastically fitting the positioning grooves 27 and the positioning protrusions 11.
