PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-vehicle device which guides a vehicle by searching for a point available for communication located in the shortest distance, in the case of the necessity of mobile communication while running the point incapable of mobile communication. SOLUTION: The history of position information on the vehicle detected by a position detection means is memorized as point information available for communication, when a mobile communication means outputs a judgement signal available for communication on the basis of the intensity of a received electric wave. When the vehicle passes another vehicle, it requires the point information available for communication which is detected and memorized by the other vehicle through a means of communication between the vehicles and memorizes the acquired additional information. In the case of the necessity of mobile communication while running the point incapable of mobile communication, the in-vehicle device guides the vehicle by searching for the memorized running point available for communication located in the shortest distance.
