PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program and an apparatus for image processing and a recording medium capable of efficiently, accurately and flexibly determining a desired image processing parameter. SOLUTION: The program for image processing selects a processing object image, selects a processing parameter for processing a selected image, determines a plurality of parameter values as to the selected processing parameter, uses each of the determined parameter values to process the selected image, generates reduced images of a plurality of processed images, displays a plurality of the produced reduced images on a display means, selects one or two of the displayed reduced images, newly determines a plurality of parameter values on the basis of the parameter values corresponding to the selected reduced images, selects one reduced image among a plurality of the reduced images displayed on the display means, stores the processed image corresponding to the selected reduced image as an image of the image processing result, and allows a computer to perform procedures for capable of repetitively performing the steps after the image processing step by using each of the determined parameter values.
