PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network type supervisory camera apparatus for preventing timing for photographing an invader from being lost easily. SOLUTION: Each supervisory camera apparatus 1 comprises a camera group information storage means 2 for storing information on a place for installing a group of pieces of supervisory camera apparatuses; and a linking operation means 3 for setting an initial value of the photography direction or the like of the next supervisory camera apparatus based on information transmitted from a supervisory camera apparatus on a network 15 and information on the place for installing the group of pieces of supervisory camera apparatuses, thus allowing the supervisory camera apparatus that becomes the transfer destination of an object such as an invader and an invading object to preset an initial value of an own photography direction or the like for watching for the invader or the like prior to the invader, or the like.
