PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid seal type vibration damper capable of obtaining stable dynamic characteristics by securing sealing performance between an outer cylinder and an intermediate cylinder even when caulking for folding back both end parts in the axial direction of the outer cylinder to the inner peripheral side is executed to the outer cylinder. SOLUTION: A protruding height that a lip part 54 in a fourth axis direction protrudes from the outer peripheral face 44a of a rubber part 44 on the fourth back face side is set so as to be identical with the height of a circumferential lip part 55 at the end part of the lip part 54 in a fourth axis direction. The protruding height is also set so as to be increased as being separated from the circumferential lip part 55. The protruding height becomes maximum at a position P equivalent to the intermediate part in the axial center O direction of the outer cylinder 32. Accordingly, even when the intermediate part in the axial center O direction of the outer cylinder 32 is deformed so as to rise in the outer diameter direction by the caulking, it is possible to surely partition second/third liquid chambers circumferentially by securing the sealing performance between the outer cylinder 32 and the intermediate cylinder 10.
