PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device capable of achieving smooth operation, while aiming at downsizing. SOLUTION: A deflector 45b of a nut 45 scoops up balls 65 from rolling paths (23b and 45f) to a tangential direction of the rolling raceway and in the direction of a lead angle. The balls 65 can be thereby scooped up to a circulation path 45c without changing rolling direction thereof, and smooth rolling is achieved, and operation noise and vibration can be restricted low.
